Great news! The dates for our 2010 Weaving Tours are finally confirmed for July and September. The tour is a wonderful opportunity to see the beauty of Timor’s landscapes and oceans, learn about life in this new democracy, visit community development programs, connect with local communities and experience life in remote Timorese villages. The journey aims to give ETWA members and supporters an opportunity to learn about women’s culture in East Timor and through a series of participatory workshops, also learn about the wonders and intricacies of traditional Tais weaving.
