The tais bookmarks are hand woven with several items on one loom at a time. Dexterity and skill are required by the weavers to produce these complex miniature pieces. They come in an array of unique stripes and designs in vivid colours which are individually created by each weaver!

Each bookmark is packaged in a protective plastic sleeve with an explanation about the handcrafts industry of East Timor. They make a simple, beautiful and meaningful gift and allow the weavers to practice their craft and create a sustainable income for themselves, their families and communities.
