NEW Fo Ba Malu Azul Textile 40

Inspired by textiles created by Timorese Master Weaver Julia Peirera during design collaborations in 2012, this fun and softly woven textile is approx. 40cm wide by 190 – 200cm long. With subtle shades of lollipop yellow, blue, green and dusty pink, with discrete highlights of black, this cheerful textile is a modern spin on Julia’s traditional design. 100% cotton, hand-woven & plant dyed in Timor-Leste by LO’UD Cooperative weavers. The textile features pale green and black Futus, an intricate tie-dye technique used to create culturally significant motifs.  Our textiles fuse traditional and contemporary design.
